A veteran of distance racing, Angelique Tostee has competed in numerous competitions, including the Absa Cape Epic, the Atacama Desert Crossing, and Ironman Triathlons. Angelique Tostee seeks inspiration for each event by following notable athletes such as Christoph Sauser and the young athletes he supports through the songo.info program.
A special young man that Angelique had the privilege of working with is a young South African mountain biker, Siphosenkosi Madolo.
Sipho Madolo is a young professional mountain biker from songo.info who is sponsored by Specialized Bicycle Components, Inc. and recently represented South Africa in Rwanda at the African Continental Championships. Sipho started riding with songo.info in 2009. At that time he was unfit and struggling at school. His life outlook was not positive as he could not see what the future held for him. Songo Fipaza spent time with Sipho teaching him mountain biking skills and in 2010 rode in the Absa Cape Epic with him. Sipho grabbed every opportunity given to him and has subsequently gone on to become one of the most promising riders at songo.info. He won the best development riders category at the 2012 Absa Cape Epic and represented South Africa at various World Cup events. He now has over 5 Absa Cape Epics under his belt. A remarkable achievement for such a young man.
More recently, Sipho completed in the African Continental Champs.

Sipho is a positive, energetic and extremely passionate young man. His determination and passion have taken him so far at such a young age. He always puts his heart and soul into any event or race that he partakes in. He has been an enormous contribution to songo.info not only as a role model but also a mentor for the young boys in the program. He runs the girls mountain biking program and takes time out from his schedule and training to teach the young girls of Kayamandi to not only ride a bicycle but conquer the technical trails.
